Welcome to Athletes Connect! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Athletes Connect mobile application (the "App") provided by Aleksa Zlatković ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the App

Athletes Connect is a platform designed to help athletes find training partners, organize group workouts, and discover local sporting events. The App is provided for free and is supported by advertising.

2. Physical Safety & Real-World Meetings Disclaimer

Please read this carefully. Athletes Connect only facilitates digital connections. We do not background-check our users, nor do we supervise the physical workouts organized through the App.

• Assumption of Risk: You agree that meeting strangers in real life and participating in physical activities (such as running, cycling, swimming, etc.) carries inherent risks of injury, property damage, or worse.
• No Liability: You assume all risks associated with joining a workout. Aleksa Zlatković is not responsible or liable for any injuries, damages, or disputes that occur during real-world meetings or workouts coordinated through the App. Always prioritize your personal safety and meet in public, well-lit areas when possible.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Conduct & Community Guidelines

You agree to use the App respectfully and lawfully. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App to harass, bully, stalk, or discriminate against other users.
• Post fake workouts, misleading locations, or spam the discussion boards.
• Input content that is illegal, offensive, or violates third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete any account that violates these community guidelines without prior notice.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (workouts, comments). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the App to provide the service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the workout details you provide.

6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase for backend infrastructure and OpenStreetMap for mapping functionalities. Your use of the App is also subject to their respective terms of service.

7. Intellectual Property

The App’s original design, branding, logos, and code are the exclusive property of Aleksa Zlatković. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aleksa Zlatković shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, including any physical harm or property damage resulting from workouts organized on the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
